Tell anyone that you're doing the Camino and their response is inevitably, 'oh, I did that' or 'my brother/sister/uncle/niece/cousin/friend did that'. I.e. it's been done before and many times. This leads to the second standard thing that people say ... 'why?'. There's a long and boring answer to this (which I'll save for the book!), but for the purposes of this web page I'll keep it short: I've been doing (not even close to) daily sketches for over five years now and they're evolving in several different directions, one of which it turns out is ... wouldn't it be fun/interesting to draw the Camino? Too soon to answer this, but I'm going to give it a go and the results, when they happen, will be posted below ... ... buen camino! |
